Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, met with President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr today to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation. The two leaders explored avenues to enhance collaboration in trade, economic affairs, and cultural exchange. Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also participated in the discussions.
President Zardari welcomed the ambassador, emphasizing the robust historical relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, founded on shared religious beliefs and mutual confidence. He stressed the importance of broadening these ties for the advantage of both nations.
Promoting Pakistan’s welcoming investment environment, Zardari encouraged Saudi financiers to consider investment prospects in diverse sectors of Pakistan”s economy. He observed the two countries” aligned perspectives on global and regional matters and their reciprocal backing in international forums.
The President expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s aid to Pakistan during challenging times. He also relayed his cordial regards and well wishes to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman through the ambassador.
