Sabotage feared as seven electricity poles fall in Naudero

LAHORE: The power supply from eight feeders was suspended after seven poles of electricity’s high transmission line of 132 KV fell simultaneously near Naudero in Larkana, according to a report on Sunday.

According to the Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) officials, it might be an act of sabotage because it did not normally happen that all seven poles have come down at the same time.

They have said that the company’s maintenance teams have reached the site and the installation of poles will soon get underway. The incident has led to suspension of electricity supply from eight feeders.
