Pakistan Railways has decided to change the route of the Karakoram Express for specific days in light of the Tablighi Congregation in Raiwind.

According to a statement issued by Pakistan Railways, on April 7, 2025, the 41 Up Karakoram Express will reach Raiwind via Sahiwal from Khanewal. This route includes a 15-minute stop at Raiwind.

The 42 Down Karakoram Express will reach Raiwind from Lahore. There will be a 15-minute stop there, after which the train will proceed to Khanewal via Sahiwal.

This decision has been made in accordance with the Tablighi Congregation taking place in Raiwind, to facilitate travel for the participants.
