Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, today convened an open court at his office, promising swift action on public complaints.

This initiative underscores a renewed commitment by the Islamabad Police to prioritize the resolution of community issues. DIG Tariq highlighted the availability of the “IGP Complaint Cell 1715” as a resource for residents to file grievances. He noted that IGP Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has mandated senior officers to host open courts throughout the district, ensuring accessibility for all citizens.

In adherence to these directives, zonal Superintendents of Police (SPs) are conducting open forums in their respective areas, reinforcing the police department”s pledge to engage with the community and address their concerns effectively. Tariq emphasized that resolving public grievances remains a paramount duty of the Islamabad Police.

This initiative encourages every resident to voice their issues freely, aiming for a collaborative approach between the police and the public to enhance community trust and safety.
