HARNAI: The residents of Sharug on Sunday blocked Quetta-Harnai highway near Pungha area of Sharug in a protest against prolonged and unannounced power load shedding in Kalak Punga area of Tehsil Sharug of district Harnai.

Talking to PPI, protesters said that issue of prolonged and unannounced power load shedding had been brought into the notice of the authorities of Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), but no action had been taken.

Urging the authorities of QESCO to address the issue of power outages in Kalak Punga area of Harnai, they said the road would remain blocked for all kinds of vehicular traffic till power load shedding in Kalak Punga was resolved. Quetta-Harnai highway remained blocked till filing this report.
