Punjab Police Deport Over 6,000 Illegal Afghans

Punjab Police have deported 6,132 illegal Afghan residents from the province, while 8,227 have been relocated to holding centers, as confirmed by Inspector General Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar.

Dr Anwar explained today that 46 holding centers have been set up throughout Punjab to manage the deportation process. He emphasized that Pakistan’s actions adhere to international legal standards.

The Inspector General highlighted that authorities possess data on 89,000 illegal residents, with federal government and intelligence agencies actively overseeing the deportation efforts.
