A review meeting on crime prevention was held at the DPO Office in Okara, chaired by Regional Police Officer Sahiwal, Mahboob Rasheed. The meeting included a detailed review of the current crime situation, security arrangements, and police performance.

During the meeting, DPO Okara Muhammad Rashid Hidayat provided a comprehensive briefing on crime prevention, arrests of suspects, and other operations in the district.

RPO Mahboob Rasheed, while addressing the meeting, emphasized ensuring the immediate arrest of proclaimed offenders, judicial absconders, and targeted offenders.

He instructed to reassess the security of sensitive locations.

The RPO stressed the need to further activate the Homicide Prevention Unit.

Strict enforcement orders were issued to ensure adherence to traffic laws.

Mahboob Rasheed prioritized the timely registration of FIRs and merit-based investigations as the police’s top priorities.

He praised DPO Okara for the recovery of a kidnapped child and commended the SHO of Haveli Lakha for the arrest of five robbers.

The meeting was also attended by SP Investigation Malik Dad and all DSPs and SHOs from the district.
