LAHORE: Punjab Governor Umar Sarfraz Cheema on Sunday visited PML-Q leader and Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi to inquire after his health.

During their meeting, Elahi apprised the governor of the details of the mayhem that was witnessed in the Punjab Assembly during the election for new chief minister of the province yesterday. Elahi, who was contesting for the CM slot got injured during the ruckus in the Punjab Assembly and broke his arm.

Yesterday talking to media, he ruled that he did well for the Sharif family but what he got in return was broken arm by the PML-N men. He said that the violation of the sanctity of the House was reprehensible and unfortunate.
