Islamabad: The Punjab Flood Warning Centre has reported that Nullah Palkhu at Wazirabad is in high flood and the water level is rising.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Flood Warning Centre recorded the discharge at 5,000 cusecs. An alert has been issued to the Irrigation Department, PDMA Punjab, district administrations, and other relevant departments to remain vigilant and closely monitor the situation.

The warning urges these entities to prepare for potential impacts and ensure public safety measures are in place. The situation is being continuously assessed to provide timely updates and responses as required.
