PTI chairman’s two lawyers booked for scuffling with Attock Jail staff

ATTOCK:A case has been registered against the two lawyers of PTI Chairman Imran Khan for scuffling with Attock Jail staff, police said Wednesday. The case was registered at Attock City Police Station on the complaint of Deputy Superintendent Afzaal Ahmad Waraich. The FIR contains criminal provisions including serious threats. According to the FIR, lawyers Sher Afzal Khan Marwat and Umair Khan Niazi also tore the uniform of head warrant Abrar Khan, both lawyers wanted to meet the PTI Chairman after the jail was locked up. They wanted to get Imran’s signatures on the power of attorney.

At the jail picket, the lawyers were told that the jail was locked as the meeting time was over, on which the lawyers got angry and started fighting with the jail staff. According to the FIR, the PTI lawyers attacked head warrant Abrar Khan and also assaulted the deputy superintendent of jail.
