On Saturday, the lady health workers of Sindh protested in front of press clubs across the province due to unmet demands. The protesters displayed banners at the district health offices and wore black armbands while performing their duties.

Chairperson of the All Lady Health Workers Program, Bushra Arain, demanded that the 18-year contract period of employment be included in the workers’ seniority.

She further stated that regular recruitment should be conducted for vacant positions and pensions for retired employees should be issued. Otherwise, the protest will continue.
