Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held important talks with several world leaders during the 23rd meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The Prime Minister held informal talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

He also met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

The warm welcome extended to the Pakistani leader by his international counterparts was a manifestation of the friendly relations between Pakistan and these countries.
