Prime Minister Expresses Gratitude as Current Account Surplus Reaches $2.1 Billion

Pakistan has recorded a current account surplus of $2.1 billion in the fiscal year 2024-2025, the highest in 22 years. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over this.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for this achievement and emphasized the government’s commitment to economic development.

He further stated that the government is prioritizing measures to improve the business and investment environment in the country. This significant surplus is an important positive development for the country’s economy.
