PPP Demands Immediate Arrests Following Fatal Shooting of Senior Party Lawyer

The Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Muhammad Humayun Khan, today issued a forceful condemnation of the fatal attack on Noor Badshah Khan Advocate, a prominent party figure and former head of the Mardan Bar Association, demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrators involved.

In a statement, Khan described the slaying as a “heinous crime against law and humanity.” He paid tribute to the deceased, characterising him as a courageous, principled, and highly skilled legal professional who had provided exceptional services to the legal community and was a staunch advocate for public rights.

The party official described the assassination as an irreparable loss to the victim”s family, the legal fraternity, and political circles.

The PPP Secretary General urged the government and law enforcement agencies to ensure those responsible for the “grievous act” are swiftly apprehended and brought to justice. ‘The perpetrators must be given exemplary punishment to fulfill the demands of justice and to prevent such tragic incidents in the future,’ he stated.

Calling Noor Badshah Khan a “valuable asset” to the PPP, he affirmed that the lawyer”s political and societal contributions would always be remembered.

Muhammad Humayun Khan also extended his best wishes for the rapid recovery of others injured in the incident and expressed profound condolences to the grieving family, offering prayers for the deceased.
