KARACHI: Police foiled a major terror bid and seized an explosives-laden truck in Matiari, a city in Sindh Province, in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to details, the police conducted an operation on the National Highway in Matiari and seized a truck-loaded with explosives. They also arrested two accused. Police informed that the arrested accused were identified as Tahir and Ali Sana who belonged to Faisalabad.

The police said that the accused were transporting explosive material from Faisalabad to Mithi in Tharparkar district. Police shifted the arrested accused to police station and launched further investigation.
