ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad police have arrested another PTI leader Jamal Akbar Ansari on Sunday.
PTI Federal Chief Election Commissioner Jamal Akbar Ansari was arrested from his residence last night in Islamabad.
Ansari was at the forefront after the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan by the paramilitary troops inside the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday. Violent clashes broke out across the country after the arrest of Imran Khan. Several PTI leaders and rioting workers have been detained since Tuesday under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order and terrorism charges.
According to police, Ansari was wanted in several cases registered against him.
