ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif on Monday visited the residence of Captain Ahmed Badr Shaheed who sacrificed his life while gallantly fighting with the terrorists in North Waziristan.
The Prime Minister offered fateha for the Shaheed and commiserated with the bereaved parents and sisters of the martyred. He said the whole nation is proud of the sacrifice, Captain Ahmed has rendered for the cause of the country, according to Radio Pakistan.
Later, talking to the local elders, the Prime Minister said these martyrs are the pride of the nation and the entire nation is indebted to their sacrifices.
Reaffirming the national resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country, he said the sacrifices of our martyrs will not be in vain.
Shehbaz Sharif especially acknowledged with pride, the courage and patience of Shaheed Captain Ahmed’s parents.On the occasion, the Prime Minister announced to establish a school in the area which will be named after the Shaheed Captain as per the desire of his father.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also visited the house of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed in Chaklala.He offered fateha and prayed for high ranks of the Shaheed and patience for his family.
The Prime Minister paid homage to the martyr and said the people of Pakistan are proud of these martyrs and their families for rendering such sacrifices for the country.He said the entire nation stands by its army until the scourge of terrorism is extirpated.
