ISLAMABAD:A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here in Islamabad on Thursday.

During the meeting, overall political situation of the country came under discussion. The Prime Minister directed the Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal to remove all reservations of the MQM regarding census at the earliest.

The delegation thanked the Prime Minister for substantially addressing the concerns of the MQM over the recent census. The MQM delegation included Convener and MNA Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister for Information Technology and Telecom Syed Aminul Haque, former MNA Farooq Sattar and former Senator Mustafa Kamal.
