Pharmaceutical industry is on the path of development due to the efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

An increase of 3.90 percent was witnessed in the exports of medicines during the financial year 2023-24 as compared to the previous year, according to a Radio Pakistan’s report.

According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), the exports of medicines during the current financial year are encouraging, compared to the exports of 328 million dollars in the last financial year.

In terms of quantity, pharmaceutical exports also increased by forty four percent from 59,00 metric tons to 85,00 metric tons. The growth in pharmaceutical exports is a prime example of SIFC’s contribution to this industry.
