Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized today, that Pakistan’s strategic military response to Indian aggression has showcased its robust defense capabilities. During a ceremony in Muzaffarabad for distributing compensation cheques to the families of those martyred in the recent conflict, Sharif asserted that India will not forget the defeat in what he termed the “briefest yet most effective war.”

The Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan”s unity, courage, and faith are pivotal in achieving economic progress and ultimate victory. He expressed hope that Kashmir will one day become part of Pakistan. Reflecting on the conflict initiated by India”s “false flag” Pahalgam operation, he praised the resilience of the Armed Forces and the citizens of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Sharif pointed out that despite offering a full international investigation, India chose to launch attacks on Bahawalpur and AJK, resulting in 35 martyrs and 55 injuries. He detailed Pakistan”s decisive military response, including downing six Indian jets and utilizing Al-Fatah missiles.

He also announced a compensation package for affected families, with 10 million rupees for each martyr”s family and 2-5 million rupees for the injured.
