Pakistani Deputy PM To Engage With UK Officials On Key Issues

Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, will embark on a three-day official trip to the United Kingdom (UK), starting August 17.

During his visit to London, Dar is expected to hold high-level discussions with UK Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Pakistan, Hamish Falconer. A breakfast meeting with Commonwealth Secretary-General, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, is also on the agenda.

The Pakistani official’s itinerary includes the launch of a Punjab Land Record Authority venture at the Pakistan High Commission in London. This program is designed to help overseas Pakistanis manage property documentation matters from abroad.

Dar’s engagement with British Members of Parliament, Kashmiri representatives, and members of the British-Pakistani diaspora will round out his UK visit.
