Pakistan on Tuesday expressed serious concerns over recent statements made by the Indian Prime Minister in Gujarat, which were deemed inappropriate for a leader of a nucleararmed nation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement highlighted that these comments openly disregard key principles of the United Nations Charter.

The statement emphasized that Pakistan perceives the remarks as a deliberate provocation meant to overshadow ongoing issues, including human rights violations and demographic changes in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Foreign Office called on the global community to take a critical view of India”s intensifying rhetoric, which poses risks to regional stability and the potential for enduring peace.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry urged immediate international attention and action, stressing the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region amidst rising tensions.
