KARACHI: Covid-19 infection cases are increasing as Pakistan registered 87 more coronavirus cases with no fatality during the last 24 hours, according the statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Monday morning. According to the NIH data, the death toll in the country remained the same at 30,645 whereas the number of total infections now shot up to 1,577,646 after adding the fresh 87 cases.

During the last 24 hours (Sunday), 3,972 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan whereas the positivity ratio skyrocketed to 2.19%. The number of patients in critical care stood at 10.
