Pakistan Railways to Integrate Gwadar to Boost Central Asian Trade

In a decisive move to strengthen Pakistan’s economic situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting today that focused on the revival of Pakistan Railways.

During this gathering, various railway projects and reform efforts were meticulously reviewed. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of reconstructing the railway infrastructure on a sustainable basis to align it with the country’s economic and industrial development.

A key feature of the meeting was the directive to quickly connect Gwadar with Pakistan Railways’ network. Sharif also ordered the development of a comprehensive strategy to further expand the railway network to boost trade with neighboring regions.
