Pakistan and Egypt’s foreign ministers held discussions focusing on the dire circumstances in Gaza and recent assaults on Iran.
The discussion was held in the 51st Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers (OIC CFM) meeting in Istanbul.
Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, informed in a post on X (formerly Twitter), that the meeting with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, was “productive.”
The two officials examined the longstanding relationship between their nations, including cooperative ventures. Their conversation also encompassed wider developments impacting the region.
Dar emphasized a mutual pledge to further joint objectives on bilateral, regional, and international platforms. He underscored the commitment of both countries to collaborative efforts aimed at promoting peace and security within the region and globally.
