Pakistan formally transferred its second consignment of 35 tons of emergency relief aid to Myanmar authorities at Yangon International Airport, bringing the total assistance sent to 70 tons.

This initiative was undertaken in response to the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar. The National Disaster Management Authority, under the directives of Pakistan’s Prime Minister, efficiently coordinated the dispatch of these relief consignments.

Ambassador Imran Haider and officials from the Pakistan Embassy handed over the aid to the Chief Minister of Yangon Region and the Director General Training of Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Pakistan reiterates its commitment to supporting the earthquake-affected people of Myanmar.
