Pakistan and Bangladesh have reaffirmed their commitment to bolster their relationship across various sectors.
Prime Minister of Pakistan met with Bangladeshi High Commissioner Md Iqbal Hussain Khan today, expressing contentment with the increasing cooperation between the two nations.
The Pakistani leader fondly remembered his fruitful discussions with Bangladeshi Chief Advisor Dr. Mohammad Yunus, including their recent encounter at the D-8 Summit in Cairo. He praised the reactivation of bilateral platforms and underscored the necessity of sustaining this progress to advance their mutual connections.
He highlighted the need for greater political, economic, and cultural collaboration. He further emphasized Pakistan”s eagerness to expand trade and interpersonal exchanges with Bangladesh.
Acknowledging the shared objective of strengthening bilateral relations, the Bangladeshi envoy updated the Prime Minister on measures being implemented by both countries to improve travel, commerce, and connectivity. He also conveyed his dedication to further solidifying the historical friendship between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The Prime Minister wished the High Commissioner well in his role, promising full support and expressing optimism for positive advancements in Pakistan-Bangladesh relations during his tenure.
