Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori advocated for Pak-China industrial cooperation to promote employment and economic growth in Sindh.
During a visit to Zeng Heng Power Company Limited, a joint public-private venture built with an investment of $800 million in the Chinese city of Chuzhou, Tessori emphasized the importance of technical exchanges, sustainable energy, and advanced manufacturing for the province’s future.
Welcomed by the company’s chief executive, the governor took a comprehensive tour of the plant, which produces thousands of lithium batteries daily. Zeng Heng Power, a leading international firm providing batteries for electric vehicles and energy storage, prioritizes battery reuse and environmentally friendly production methods.
Tessori stated that this visit would usher in a new era of sustainable energy and modern industries in Sindh. The Chinese company expressed its desire to invest in Pakistan and strengthen industrial ties. The governor reiterated his commitment to promoting sustainable energy, electric vehicle technology, and sustainable businesses in the province.
