The Punjab government has provided a major facility in the transportation system in Wazirabad. Initially, 15 electric buses are being introduced, which will facilitate more than 10,000 passengers daily. This initiative will help modernize the city’s public transport system.

The new buses will also include special facilities for disabled people, including wheelchair access and dedicated seating for passengers with special needs.

A dedicated depot will also be built for the fleet of electric buses, which will have charging stations, washing bays, and parking areas.
