The death anniversary of Madar-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah, sister of the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, will be observed on July 9. Tributes will be paid to this key figure of the Pakistan Movement across the country.

A flower-laying ceremony will be held at her mausoleum where dignitaries will offer prayers. Commemorative gatherings will be held across the country in recognition of her services.

Special series will be presented on various media outlets including radio, television and print media to highlight Ms. Jinnah’s vital role and sacrifices in the creation of Pakistan. Born in Karachi on July 30, 1893, Fatima Jinnah’s legacy remains enviable to this day.
