The Ministry of Housing and Works has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt) Ltd to jointly organize the Build Pakistan Exhibition and Conference 2025, marking a major initiative to promote sustainable development and industrial growth in Pakistan’s housing and construction sectors.
The signing ceremony was held here at the Ministry on Friday, where Additional Secretary Muhammad Ashfaq Ghumman and Fakt Exhibitions CEO Saleem Khan Tanoli formally signed and exchanged the MoU. The event was witnessed by Federal Minister for Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada and Secretary Housing and Works Hamid Yaqub Sheikh.
Under the agreement, Fakt Exhibitions will organize the ‘Build Pakistan – Let’s Build Together’ exhibition series with the patronage of the Ministry. The first of four planned events will take place at the Lahore Expo Center in October 2025, with subsequent events scheduled across the country.
The exhibitions aim to provide a dynamic platform for government projects, private sector companies, and international exhibitors to showcase innovation, construction materials, advanced technologies, and investment opportunities. The event will focus on critical themes such as infrastructure, housing, urban regeneration, and industrial development, and will be held in collaboration with trade bodies, chambers of commerce, and industry associations.
Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Saleem Khan Tanoli briefed the attendees on the goals and expected outcomes of the exhibition series, emphasizing its importance in driving infrastructure development, housing sustainability, and economic progress.
Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada congratulated both organizations on the partnership, calling it a ‘timely and strategic initiative’ aligned with the government’s broader development goals. He said the exhibition would help advance the national agenda of affordable housing, public-private partnerships, and foreign investment, while also supporting CPEC-related development and the growth of Special Economic Zones.
‘The Ministry is fully committed to backing initiatives that encourage innovation, foster collaboration, and enable sustainable urban growth,’ the Minister added, reaffirming the government’s support for platforms that connect local and global stakeholders in Pakistan’s development journey.
