Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, conveyed his message on the occasion of “World Day for Safety and Health at Work,” stating that the Sindh government is committed to the health, welfare, and protection of workers.
April 28 is dedicated to raising awareness about accidents and health in the workplace. The Chief Minister remarked that the Sindh government has focused on improving infrastructure and facilities in the health sector.
The Chief Minister mentioned that the Sindh Emergency Rescue Service (SERS) was launched in 2022 to provide immediate assistance in emergency situations.
He further stated that a Workplace Safety and Health Action Plan has also been prepared to ensure the safety of employees.
The Chief Minister noted that an awareness video was created during COVID-19 to promote safety measures at workplaces.
Syed Murad Ali Shah also highlighted the Pakistan People’s Party’s policy of believing in serving the public and providing facilities.
