Meeting held to resolve issues of overseas Pakistanis, cases related to issues reviewed

A meeting of the District Overseas Committee of Okara was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Shoaib Waraich, in which the problems of overseas Pakistanis were considered. According to an official statement, representatives of various departments attended the meeting where cases related to the problems of overseas Pakistanis were reviewed. Waraich directed the concerned authorities to resolve these cases immediately.

He emphasized the importance of overseas Pakistanis and termed them as a valuable asset. He said that according to the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, comprehensive measures are being taken for their welfare, property and protection of financial interests. Waraich urged the authorities to resolve the issues of overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis and take personal interest in it. He said that attention should be paid to resolve property disputes fairly and effectively according to the relevant laws.
