Maryam Nawaz, Australian envoy discuss bilateral tiesAJK PM urges UN to help resolve Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD:,,, The Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Neil Hawkins, called on PML-N Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.

According to a report on Thursday, during the meeting , matters relating to cooperation in different fields and bilateral trade came under discussion.

They also discussed challenges faced by Pakistan due to climate change and effective strategies to mitigate their negative effects. Both emphasized the need for collective efforts to protect the planet for generations to come.

Recognizing the important role of agriculture in driving economic growth and sustainability, they emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to increase produce.

MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has urged the United Nations to take measures for settlement of longstanding Kashmir issue for permanent peace in the region.

In a statement today, he said the world highest forum should take tangible measures to help implement its resolutions on Kashmir so that the Kashmiri people could decide their political future in a proper manner.

Reacting to Indian prime minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmr, the AJK prime minister said India cannot mislead the world community by baseless narratives.
