Maritime Minister Honours Female Matriculation Toppers at KPT

In a historic ceremony at Karachi Port Trust (KPT) Head Office, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry celebrated the academic excellence of 22 female students who achieved A-1 grades in their matriculation exams.

Each student was awarded a cash prize of Rs25,000, marking a significant milestone as all honourees were female, reinforcing the rising prominence of women in academic spheres.

The event was further distinguished by the Minister’s recognition of educators, awarding them for their pivotal role in guiding these young achievers. Minister Chaudhry, during his address, highlighted the critical contribution of youth to the nation’s future, stating, ‘Our youth are our most valuable asset. They are the leaders of tomorrow in every sphere of life.’

Adding to the ceremony”s highlights, certificates were distributed to female students who completed computer training at the KPT Industrial Home Computer Centre in Keamari. The Minister lauded this initiative, stressing its significance in equipping women with vital digital skills needed in today”s workforce.

In discussions with the media, Minister Chaudhry acknowledged the press’s vital role in societal advancement and countering misinformation, especially against external propaganda. He emphasized the unity of civilians, media, and armed forces during national challenges as a testament to Pakistan’s enduring strength.

The memorable event concluded with a group photograph of the honoured students alongside Minister Chaudhry, encapsulating a moment of pride and inspiration for all present.
