Magsi urges Sindh govt to get digital census stopped

LARKANA: Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP) Chief Dr. Qadir Magsi says that we are carrying the pain of Sindh to different circles and classes door to door because Sindh has not been given to us by anyone including Asif Ali Zardari and others because it is a historic and natural motherland.

This he expressed while addressing a press conference at the local press club here on Monday against digital census. Magsi said that he put the serious concerns before the government that this population census was a conspiracy against our existence, so it should be stopped. “It is the moral responsibility of the Sindh government to get it stopped,” he stressed.

Magsi said that Sindh’s precious lands had been given away to outsiders where non-locals would be settled as local people had no wealth to buy a costly flat of 100 or 200 sq yards or a bungalow there. He said huge projects like Bahria Town, DHA, Commander Town, Zulfiqarabad etc. were examples in this regard. He alleged that Zardari had no interest except collecting dollars. The STPP chief said under a new conspiracy, they had planned to convert Sindhi people into minority through digital census which we had already been rejected.
