Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Commander in Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Pakistan Army Staff, at General Headquarters today to discuss escalating regional instability and potential defense cooperation.

The leaders examined shared concerns, including evolving regional dynamics and security threats. They also explored opportunities for collaboration in the defense industry and the exchange of technical expertise to tackle current security issues.

Prior to the meeting, Lieutenant General Haftar paid tribute to fallen Pakistani soldiers at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada. He received a formal welcome and a guard of honor upon his arrival.
