KHUZDAR:Levies force Khuzdar on Sunday claimed to have foiled a bid to smuggle more than 100 sacks of wheat by arresting four alleged accused during the operationin an operation conducted at levies check post Zawa in Baghbana area of district Khuzdar.

Following the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Khuzdar Captain (Retd) Jamil Baloch, staff of levies force, Baghbana under the supervision of Habib Gichki, Incharge, levies station Baghbana recovered more than 100 hundred sacks of wheat from passenger coach No. JB-7979 in an operation conducted at levies check post, Zawa in Baghbana area of district Khuzdar.

Four alleged accused namely owner of wheat Muhammad Ayub son of Sultan, owner of coach Abdul Ghafar son of Abdul Wahab, driver Amir Muhammad son of Mir Hamza and cleaner Muhammad Ramzan son of Muhammad Bakhsh were also arrested during the operation. Seized wheat and alleged accused along with coach were shifted to levies station Baghbana for taking further legal action. Further investigation was being conducted by the Investigation staff of levies station, Baghbana.
