Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti said on Thursday that a conducive environment and protection to the investors of Republic of Korea for investment in fisheries, livestock, mines and minerals and tourism sectors of Balochistan province would be provided.
These views were expressed by him while talking to the Ambassador of Republic of Korea to Pakistan, Mr Park Kijun who called on him at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Bugti said Balochistan occupied a pivotal position in future’s national economy, adding that technical and vocational training would be imparted to 30000 youth of Balochistan.
He lauded the initiative taken by the government of the Republic of Korea for establishing IT Park in Quetta. Bilateral cooperation for investment in tourism, IT, livestock and other sectors of the province and other issues of bilateral interest came under discussion during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Kijun said that Republic of Korea was interested in investing in different sectors of Balochistan, including tourism and IT sectors.
