JUI-N Balochistan today called on authorities to greenlight the development of commercial properties at the location of the former vegetable market in Quetta.

The party believes constructing shops and plazas on this centrally located land would create much-needed employment opportunities for residents.

JUI-N Balochistan Convenor and Quetta District Ameer issued a statement emphasizing the potential of this unused urban space. They argued that allocating the land for commercial development could significantly alleviate unemployment in the provincial capital.

The leaders noted that Balochistan”s Chief Minister understands the economic struggles of the populace. They emphasized that the CM, being a resident of the province, is keenly aware of the severity of unemployment. They highlighted the citizens” reliance on border trade and the sale of Iranian fuel, and how the closure of borders and ban on this trade has severely impacted livelihoods.
