Karachi: Ali Muhammad Mandra, President, “Lasbela Balochistan Zamindaran Action Committee, IUthal”, has demanded of the authorities to provide relief to the flood stricken people of district Lasbela.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club here on Tuesday, he said that the recent flood had badly affected district Lasbela, adding that flood inundated lands, destroyed standing crops and killed livestock, but neither the district government nor did the provincial government provide any kind of relief to the people of district Lasbela.
He called on Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, Acting Governor Balochistan, Mir Jan Muhammad Jamali and Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili to provide relief to the flood stricken people of district Lasbela.
On the occasion, Sardar Imam Bakhsh Mandra, Abu Bakr Bara, Chaudry Faiz Ahmed, Abdul Majeed Bara, Elm Muhammad Mandra and others were also present.
