Islamabad Pledges Action on Expat Grievances, Vows to Bolster EU Relations

The Pakistani government is instituting all possible measures to resolve the challenges faced by its overseas citizens, according to the Minister for Law and Justice.

Addressing the Overseas Conference in Barcelona, Spain today, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar described the diaspora community as a “precious asset” and the nation”s ambassadors abroad.

The minister conveyed that the Prime Minister has issued directives to the relevant authorities to launch initiatives aimed at the wellbeing and facilitation of overseas Pakistanis.

Mr Tarar also affirmed that Pakistan”s relationship with the European Union, particularly under the GSP Plus status, is set to be further strengthened.

He concluded by lauding the expatriate community for their unwavering commitment to the development and prosperity of the country.
