Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi tasked the newly appointed DG FIA with developing a robust strategy against illegal immigration and announced a nationwide crackdown on human trafficking networks.

This he said here today while meeting with the newly appointed Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency, Riffat Mukhtar Raja, and Director General of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency, Waqar Uddin Syed.

The Interior Minister underscored the urgency of addressing this serious issue, declaring that those involved in human trafficking must face severe consequences.

Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry highlighted the necessity of showing no leniency towards traffickers.

Naqvi also directed the DG NCCIA to intensify efforts against cybercrimes, recognizing cybersecurity as a growing challenge. Plans to enhance the capacity of the NCCIA through specialized training abroad were also discussed.
