HEC Peer Review Team Visits IIUI: University Leadership Pledges Reforms and Strategic Vision

The Peer Review Team from the National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC), Higher Education Commission (HEC), visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), engaging with the university’s leadership to discuss the ongoing accreditation process for the Faculty of Management Sciences” BBA program.

During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, President of IIUI, underscored the university’s commitment to addressing institutional challenges through a strategic approach. Discussions covered legal, financial, and infrastructural issues, emphasizing the need to utilize all platforms for effective resolution. Dr. Syed highlighted the strategic vision being implemented, detailing the structural aspects of PC1 and the significance of HEC’s recommendations.

Vice President (A and F), Prof. Abdul Raheman, provided an overview of the university’s academic and development initiatives, particularly focusing on the Faculty of Management Sciences. He acknowledged the faculty’s contributions to IIUI’s growth and outlined future plans supported by the Saudi Fund, including the allocation of computer systems for 1,000 students across campuses.

The session concluded with a mutual understanding that continued collaboration between IIUI and HEC would enhance academic excellence and institutional progress.
