ISLAMABAD:The federal government has announced a major concession for the intending Hajis as it has decided to include the amount for animal sacrifice in the original Hajj package, officials said Sunday.

Now, the intending Hajis would not have to pay Rs57,000 extra for animal sacrifice in Saudi Arabia.

Originally, the animal sacrifice price was not included in the Hajj package under the government-sponsored scheme and the pilgrims were directed to take along the amount with them when they set off the pilgrimage. The government made the latest concession on the request of the Hajj pilgrims due to the costly package.
