Karachi: The gold prices in Pakistan on Saturday saw a huge decrease in Pakistani markets as the precious yellow metal continued to depreciate in the international market. According to the All Sindh Jewelers Association, the price of one tola of 24-Karat gold saw a decrease of Rs 3,700 as it was being traded for Rs 150,100. Similarly, the price of 10-gram of 24-Karat gold saw a decrease of Rs 3,216 as it was being traded for Rs 128,186.
In the international market, the price of one ounce of gold was decreased by $2 and was being traded for $1,642 per ounce. The jewelers said the increased gold prices have dealt a blow to their businesses as it has reduced the purchasing power of the people to a great extent.
