Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Saturday said that survival of humanity and formation of a developed society is possible with peace.

In his message issued by Chief Minister’s Secretariat on the eve of ‘International Day of Peace’, he said ‘Peace’ is the biggest challenge in today’s world, adding that internal affairs were to be streamlined as Pakistan was in the grip of international conspiracies.

He said the negative role played by social media to disturb peace in Balochistan and the role played by international forces to deteriorate law and order situation in Balochistan could not be ignored. Handlers sitting abroad were keeping youth away from the state through social media by sowing the seed of hatred between the state and the youth, he said. He added, ‘We will have to realise the gravity of the situation’, adding, ‘We are sending our youth abroad, including Oxford for seeking education’.

He said restoring peace and protection of the lives of the people was the responsibility of the state, adding steps were being taken for durable peace in the province. ‘On the eve of ‘International Day of Peace’, we commit to making Pakistan and Balochistan the cradle of peace’, he said.
