On the very first day of the annual examinations for the ninth and tenth grades in the Mirpurkhas division, the claims of the education board were fully exposed. Students faced severe difficulties due to intense heat and the worst power outages.

The Mirpurkhas education board had claimed to have made better arrangements for the exams. However, complaints were received regarding the late arrival of papers at several examination centers. At Comprehensive High School and Shah Waliullah High School, due to a shortage of furniture, students were seen sitting on the ground to solve their papers.

The HESCO authorities continued power outages during the examinations, causing significant problems for the students. Parents demanded an end to power outages during exams and better arrangements at the centers to protect students from distressing situations.

No response was received from the education board when contacted. It has been assured that Section 144 will be enforced in the examination centers to maintain discipline during the exams.
