The Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, Dr Asad Majeed Khan, is set to embark on an official visit to Pakistan from April 8-10, 2025.

Dr Khan will engage with key figures in Pakistan’s leadership, including the President, Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, and several Federal Ministers. These discussions will focus on the ECO’s initiatives and Dr. Khan’s reform agenda aimed at revitalizing the Organization and bolstering ties with Member States, particularly Pakistan, to enhance regional cooperation and development.

Following his engagements in Islamabad, Dr. Khan will proceed to Lahore for the 294th Meeting of the ECO Council of Permanent Representatives, scheduled from April 12-15, 2025, where he will join other Permanent Representatives of ECO member states.
