Efforts afoot to provide educational facilities to disabled: CM aide

KARACHI:Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Investment Department and Public Private Partnership Projects Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar has said that the Sindh government in collaboration with private sector is trying to provide better health care, vocational and educational facilities to differently abled persons and children.

 

This he said while visiting Dawood Public School Bahadurabad. On this occasion Omair Ahmed CEO Now PDP, Fatima Jamil GM, Vice Chairman TDF Sabrina Dawood, CEO Fasih Uddin and others were also present. During the visit, Qamar was briefed about the facilities being provided to differently abled children. He was informed that Dawood Development Unit offered physical, occupational, and speech therapy services through schooling and OPD.

 

TDF stated the need for inclusive parks and playgrounds in school and the benefits of having such spaces. Inclusive parks will provide access to people of all ages, demographics, and disabilities. Qamar assured that Sindh government would help school administration in establishing the said park and hopefully it would benefit to differently abled people.
